Job Description:

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the D3A PCU unit, managing critical patient conditions using hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management techniques. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure all medical needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assist providers with bedside procedures such as chest tube insertion and intubations.
• Perform bedside shift reports and nurse leader rounding.

Requirements:

• Medical ICU experience in a large facility with proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
• Strong critical-thinking skills, flexibility, and teamwork capabilities.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Advanced skills in ventilator management, critical care pharmacology (IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors), and central line management.
