Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, you will provide specialized care for oncology and trauma patients. The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 for PCU and 1:5 for MedSurg, offering a mixed acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and manage titratable drips including insulin and cardizem.
• Float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed.
• Participate in hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license with minimum 1-year experience in oncology and PCU settings.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and ONS/ONCC.
• Chemo certification required.
• Compliance with fingernail policy prohibiting artificial nails in patient care areas.
