Shift: 12h Night, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 3 shifts per week

Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit responsible for providing quality patient care and managing complex cases in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in the Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit with the ability to manage CRRT, Bipaps, and perform own lab draws, and manage Chest Tubes and PICCs.
• Operate independently without vascular access team, handle own consults, and conduct codes with confidence.
• Manage open heart patients day 1 including pacer wires.
• Floating to ICU and all inpatient units: Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED as needed.
• Work every other weekend and based on unit needs, work holidays such as July 4th.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit.
• Must hold a valid KS RN or Compact RN License.
• Certification required: BLS, ACLS, & NIH.
• Prior experience required to float across units: ICU, Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED.
• Adherence to company policies such as no time off requests during specified periods, compliance with nicotine-free facility.
