Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing patient care in the Oncology PCU and Trauma PCU, with a focus on maintaining quality standards and ensuring patient safety. This is a mixed unit that requires adaptability to float between med/surg and PCU units.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, heparin, and Cardizem.
• Monitor patients using ventilators and perform hourly rounding for patient satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with additional unit support staff for comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• Current ACLS, BLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in oncology and PCU.
• Ability to adapt to a mixed patient population and titrate specific drips like insulin and Cardizem.
