Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. The Registered Nurse (RN) will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring effective coordination of care with other disciplines. This role requires the utilization of critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups of patients.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff activities.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in patient care.

Work Schedule

Day Shift, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in an acute care facility.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
  • AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required.

Other Requirements

Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.
