Operating Room Nurse (OR RN)

Position Summary

Seeking a dedicated Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, assisting with various surgical procedures, and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Details

Shift hours may vary and could include:

• 2 shifts of 12 hours (24 hours) plus 2 shifts of 8 hours (16 hours) per week
• Availability to work Saturdays or Sundays each week is required

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Operating Room
• Number of Operating Rooms: 9
• Staffing Configuration:
  • Day Shift: RN and CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) coverage
  • Night Shift: Staff is covered by on-call personnel

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Required:
  • Experience as a circulating nurse in General, Gynecological, Urological, and Pediatric surgeries.
  • Competence in both open and laparoscopic procedures.
• Preferred:
  • Experience with robotic surgical systems.
