Job Description:

Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages in both scrub and circulating roles for ophthalmology operating room.

Responsibilities:

• Scrubbing and circulating in an ophthalmology operating room.
• Providing care for patients requiring eye surgery including cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics.

Requirements:

• RN License (NY state license ONLY)
• Two (2) years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
• Able to scrub and circulate
• Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics required
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (Preferred)
