Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. The RN will be responsible for ensuring high-quality nursing care in the operating room, observing the surgical team’s activities, and assisting in creating a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases and manage nursing care within the operating room.
• Observe the surgical team from a broad perspective and provide necessary assistance.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment for all surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a level 1 or 2 trauma center.
• Experience with da Vinci Surgical Robot, neuro-spine, and cranial procedures is required.
• Preferred experience includes pediatric OR and orthopedic trauma.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred, though not required.

Work Schedule

This position offers a work schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
