Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in providing patient care during surgical procedures. This position requires a qualified candidate with specific experience in orthopedic and neuro operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and coordination of surgical procedures.
• Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
• Monitor patient status and respond to any changes during surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for weekend and weekday on-call shifts. Nurses will work four 10-hour shifts per week and will be required to cover every 4-5th weekend as well as one weeknight on-call shift.

Experience Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in an operating room setting, specifically with orthopedic and neuro procedures.

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)

Additional Information

Holiday coverage is required, and performance expectations will be monitored closely. Failure to meet performance standards may lead to contract termination.
