Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various surgical procedures and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the operating room for various surgical specialties.
• Assist with procedures primarily focused on orthopedics, including Total Joints, Fractures, Gyn, Robotic Surgery, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, and Ortho Spine.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for patient documentation.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
• Must be competent in various surgical procedures as listed above.
• Preferred prior travel experience in similar roles.
