Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room to join our team for a 16-week contract in Fairbanks, AK. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment with diverse cases.

Schedule Details

• Orientation: All orientation time is billable.
• Standard Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Weekend Requirement: Required for call.
• Holiday Requirement: Required for call.
• Floating Requirement: Occasional floating to endoscopy.

Case Responsibilities

The RN will assist in various surgical cases, including but not limited to:

• General Surgery
• Gynaecology (GYN)
• Urology
• Robotics in General Surgery, GYN, and Urology with Da Vinci
• Orthopedics
• Neurosurgery and Spine
• Podiatry
• Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
• Plastic Surgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Ophthalmology
• Trauma

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; 5 years preferred.
• Current AK nursing license.
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS.
• New graduates are not accepted for this position.

Additional Information

This position includes free housing for one occupant. Please note that units accommodating pets are not available. Reliable transportation is a must.

Payroll Information

Payroll is processed on a weekly basis.
