Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and a collaborative approach within a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

The RN will work a rotating schedule consisting of five 8-hour shifts per week from Monday to Friday. Shifts will be between 06:00 AM and 08:30 PM. Call duty will be necessary, with the expectation of covering at least one night and one weekend shift per schedule, with potential for increased call based on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year of full-time experience in the operating room.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
• Epic experience is required.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Trauma is mandatory.
• Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform technical tasks as per protocols.
• Monitor patients’ health and respond to changes in conditions promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health records (Epic).
