Position Overview

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room environment, focusing on patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes. This role involves assisting with surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and collaborating with surgical teams.

Schedule Details

• Shift: Days
• Hours: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM, 10-hour shifts
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Orientation Schedule: 10 hours (5 hours are non-billable)

Requirements

• Experience Requirement: Minimum of 2 years in an operating room setting, with proficiency in all-around scrubbing skills. Experience with robotic surgery, orthopedic, and spinal procedures is ideal.
• Preferred Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience.
• License/Certification: Valid Illinois RN license and BLS certification required.

Additional Details

• Weekend Requirement: On-call only
• Holiday Requirement: As needed
• Floating Requirement: Unlikely
