Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Cardiac OR is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This role requires expertise in circulating and scrubbing with a focus on neonatal to young adult sized patients, including those with congenital anomalies and developmental delays.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Pediatric Cardiac OR, primarily for cardiothoracic procedures.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and communication.
• Respond to on-call shifts as needed, ensuring a response time of 30 minutes.
• Participate in floating to general OR as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Pediatric CVOR experience.
• BLS, PALS, and WA State or compact RN license. CNOR preferred.
• Experience with IV starts, scrubbing, and art line management.
