Job Description:

The RN in Oncology will provide quality care for patients in a 24-bed unit primarily focused on oncology and women’s surgical procedures. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications under the supervision of a certified oncology physician.
• Perform occasional pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EMR systems (Cerner).

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Chemo Certification preferred
