Number of Beds: 30 bed unit
Staffing: 48 nurses/support staff

General Information

This unit specializes in surgical oncology, providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer.

Staff Structure

• Day Shift: 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 5-6 Registered Nurses (RNs), 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• Night Shift: 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 5-6 Registered Nurses (RNs), 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)

Patient Ratios

Estimated ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 RNs to patients.

• SCD machines
• Mobilabs
• Glucometers

Additional Guidelines

Candidates must adhere to the attendance policy.

Weekend Commitment

Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month required.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
