Job Description:

The RN in the Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Emergency Department is responsible for the specialized care of laboring patients, care of the newborn immediately after delivery, and circulating and recovering cesarean section patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for laboring patients.
• Care for the newborn immediately after delivery.
• Circulate and recover cesarean section patients.
• Participate in vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other related procedures.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (or CEFM), ACLS, BLS, NRP.
• Advanced skills in labor and delivery and newborn care.
