Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will primarily work in the Observation unit but may also float to various Medical-Surgical units, including Respiratory, Stroke, and Cardiac units, and potentially the Emergency Department, as needed.

Shift Information

• Shift: Night Shift (7 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Proficient in reading Telemetry and BCRA; competence will be assessed on the first day of work.
• Active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.
• Current proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required; refresher classes or one-on-one training are not provided.

Additional Information

The RN will primarily focus on patient care in the Observation unit while also being flexible to assist in other areas according to skill sets and staffing needs. Call duty will be a rare occurrence.
