Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Newborn Nursery setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in neonatal care and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality nursing support to newborns and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in the nursery.
• Monitor and assess the health status of infants and respond to any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate parents on infant care, feeding, and development.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Newborn Nursery or similar setting.
• Current and valid nursing license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Location

This position is available in the Newborn Nursery located in a facility in a city within the state.

Schedule

The position involves a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
