Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our NICU is a highly specialized, nationally recognized center providing the highest level of care for sick or premature newborns (Level IV center). The unit offers advanced treatments for respiratory failure and heart disease, serving the Finger Lakes Region.

Job Duties

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate families about neonatal care and support them through challenging times.

Job Requirements

• Current RN License in New York State.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience required.

Certifications

• NRP 8th Edition Certification required.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association required.

Schedule

This position requires flexibility with rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on unit needs.
