NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Fairbanks, AK. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns.

Position Overview

The NICU RN will be responsible for the care of level 2 NICU acuity patients, managing transition cases, admitting NICU patients, and resuscitating newborns. The candidate must have experience attending deliveries as a NICU RN.

Schedule and Work Requirements

• Start Date: November 8
• Orientation: Included and billable
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend Requirement: 5 shifts within a 6-week period
• Holiday Requirement: As needed based on unit demands
• Floating Requirement: Possible floating to all departments as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent NICU experience
• Current AK RN License
• Certifications: NRP and STABLE

Additional Information

• Housing: Free housing provided for one occupant (pet units not available)
• Time Off: Up to 14 days of requested time off, including a maximum of 4 weekend shifts
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Candidates must reside 50+ miles outside of Fairbanks to be eligible
