Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother/Baby

Unit Information

The Mother-Baby unit provides care for postpartum patients and their newborns, focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences through supportive teamwork and patient-centered care.

• Number of Beds: 10
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: Minimum of 2 RNs, up to 3 depending on patient acuity
  • Night Shift: Minimum of 2 RNs, up to 3 depending on patient acuity
• Patient Ratios: 1:3 couplets
• Electronic Medical Record System: CPN, Meditech

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care.
• Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); experience in assisting with deliveries required.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with additional skills will be given priority consideration.

• Familiarity with routine postpartum care.
• Experience with circumcision and some GYN postoperative care.
