Registered Nurse (RN) – Mom/Baby

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mom/Baby unit. This role is critical in providing high-quality nursing care to mothers and their newborns during their hospital stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, ensuring the well-being of both mothers and infants.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following standard operating procedures.
• Educate new mothers on postnatal care, breastfeeding techniques, and infant care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care plans.
• Document all nursing care and patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate life-saving measures when necessary.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in a Mom/Baby or related unit is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

This position requires working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet the needs of the unit.
