Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Shifts are scheduled for nights from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM, with a rotating schedule of 6 consecutive workdays followed by 8 days off. Please note that there is a blackout period during the holiday season.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support patient and family needs through education and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry or Wound Care setting.
• Comfortable floating to different units as required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 6:1.

Additional Information

The facility has a total of 45 beds and utilizes MEDHOST for electronic medical records.

Interested candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and provide a permanent home address at the time of submission.

Scrubs must be dark navy blue.
