Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team for day shifts. The ideal candidate will have charge capabilities and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Manage a patient ratio of 5 patients to 1 nurse.
• Supervise and support junior nursing staff as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Schedule Requirements

This position requires availability for one to two weekends per four-week scheduling rotation.

Patient Population

The RN will care for a variety of patients, including those from ortho, geriatrics, general medical-surgical backgrounds, as well as swing bed (rehab) patients, and occasionally pediatric patients.

Additional Information
