Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our 3 East Med/Surg/Tele unit. This role demands a high level of proficiency due to the complexity of the unit and requires a minimum of one year of experience in a Med/Surg Tele environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients who meet Medicine or Med Tele admission criteria.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg Tele experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
• 1-2 years of Med Surg or Tele experience.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts along with holiday and weekend rotations. There are no guaranteed hours and overtime will be paid at the regular, all-inclusive rate.
