Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our combined adult and pediatric medical-surgical unit. This position is essential in providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Information

• Average Daily Census: 10 patients
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5-6

Shift

The position requires availability for day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate electronic medical records using TruBridge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
