Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (MedSurg) and Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. This role includes night shifts, requiring availability for 36 hours per week, with scheduled shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient management plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Float to similar units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either the American Red Cross (ARC) or the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MedSurg and Telemetry nursing.
• Experience with Telemetry and Meditech systems is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Information

Telemetry testing will be conducted on the first day of orientation to ensure competency in patient monitoring and care.

This position is located in a facility situated in Massachusetts.
