Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on MedSurg and Telemetry to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid RN License in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MedSurg and Telemetry within an acute care setting.
• Telemetry experience is essential.
• Proficiency in Meditech is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires working days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a commitment to 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday.
