ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Evanston, IL. This position involves caring for inpatient admissions, primarily focusing on Med/Surg/Tele patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, noting any changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Float to other Med/Surg/Tele units as needed.

Schedule and Requirements

• Contract Length: 10-14 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every Monday.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Holiday Requirement: As needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele/Neuro experience required.
• Current IL nursing license, BLS certification, NIHSS certification, and a passing score on the EKG test are required.
• New graduates are not accepted for this position.
