ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in Evanston, IL. This position involves providing high-quality care for inpatient admissions, specifically for Med/Surg/Tele patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Assess patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and response to treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other Med/Surg/Tele units as needed.

Schedule Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Work Schedule: Every Monday
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele/Neuro experience.
• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Successful completion of an EKG test.

Additional Information

This assignment is expected to last between 10 to 14 weeks. Non-billable orientation hours of 8 hours are required prior to start. All credentials must be submitted by Thursday prior to the start date.
