Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work a day shift, providing quality care in an acute care setting.

Shift and Schedule

• Day shift: 0500 – 1730
• 36 hours per week with weekend rotation

Unit Information

The unit requires staff to wear solid color scrubs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care environment
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Preferred (must be attained if extending for additional contracts)

Additional Requirements

Candidates must have experience using the EPIC electronic health record system.
