Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in this role will provide care in a telemetry unit for medical surgical patients, including those in intermediate level and outpatient infusions. The position requires a high level of competency with various patient types including stroke, MI, and trauma, ensuring delivery of quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer care to Medical Surgical, Intermediate, and ED patients as assigned.
• Operate within patient ratios of 1:4-6 for Medical Surgical unit.
• Participate in team nursing approach with RT and Imaging professionals.
• Rotate shifts and float across different units as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ED and MedSurg.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS certifications required; CPI preferred.
• Completion of a nursing program approved by a board of nursing and a registered nurse license from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Experience in Medical Surgical Inpatient Care, ED training, and trauma care.
