RN (Registered Nurse), Med Surg

Shift: 12H Day/Night Rotate 6:45am-7:15pm, and 6:45p-7:15a. Every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: 06/22/2026

Job Description:

Provide nursing care on the Med Surg unit, ensuring patient safety and care quality, while floating between Emergency Department and Med Surg as required. This role requires ER experience.

Responsibilities:

• Admit, discharge, and transfer patients
• Titrate medications and start IVs
• Participate in Code situations: Cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis
• Respond to traumas and work in both Med Surg and ER
• Read and document EKG strips

Requirements:

• Emergency Department experience is a must
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
• Ability to work independently with minimal staff
• Comfort with floating between departments
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
