Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical (Nursing)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patients with spinal neuro trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with complex medical and surgical needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical nursing specialty.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
