Job Title: Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical

City/State: Kansas City, Missouri

Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45PM – 7:15AM, variable days of the week)

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: 06/20/2026

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit is responsible for providing quality care to patients, maintaining medical records, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient well-being.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements:

2+ years of Medical/Surgical experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required with submission.
Must hold a valid MO or Compact nursing license.
Willingness to float as needed (excluding Tele).
Must work four weekend shifts per six-week schedule block.
