Job Description:

The role involves working as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg unit at a facility in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit focuses on handling and maintaining post-operative care for surgical procedures, with a patient ratio typically at 1:5.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of post op surgical procedure sites
• Wound care, including packing, dressing changes, wound vac maintenance
• Foley Catheter care with continuous bladder irrigation
• Ostomy appliance changes and maintenance
• Nasogastric Tube insertion and suction
• Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
• Blood Administration
• Central Line Care and dressing changes
• Conducting Bedside Shift Reports

Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Strong time management and efficiency skills
• Teamwork
