Job Description:

The RN in the Med Surg unit is responsible for providing acute care for hospitalized patients. The role involves delivering patient care, supporting patient recovery, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The unit consists of 33 beds with patient ratios of 5:1.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit
• Document patient information using Meditechs system
• Ensure patient experience standards, including keeping White Boards filled out
• Participate in staffing rotations, including floating as needed

Requirements:

• Basic Med Surg knowledge
• BLS Certification
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Must wear Navy blue, black, royal blue, or any color gray scrubs
