Job Description:

A Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit is responsible for providing care to neuro patient populations, including stroke, neurosurgical, and seizure patients, with a nurse/patient ratio of 1/5 or 1/6.

Responsibilities:

Administer care to neuro patients including stroke and neurosurgical cases.
Float to other MS units as needed.
Work every other weekend as required.
Provide patient care with adherence to unit-specific protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

Experience with EPIC Charting and 2+ years of strong Med/Surg experience. Neuro experience preferred.
Active Illinois RN License, BLS, and NIHSS certification.

Complete orientation and Epic training as scheduled.
