Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical – Observation

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a Medical Surgical Observation setting. This position requires a commitment to quality patient care and effective collaboration with the healthcare team.

Shift Schedule

This role operates on a night shift basis, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in medical surgical nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical Observation unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
