Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical unit. This position involves working night shifts and requires availability every other weekend.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in a Medical Surgical environment. Key responsibilities may include:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring patient conditions and recording vital signs
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educating patients and families on health management and disease prevention
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records

Requirements

• Current Compact or AL RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Ability to handle a patient ratio of 6:1
