Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical 2S Stroke Unit

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in the Medical Surgical 2S Stroke Unit. This is a night shift role, offering a great opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Stroke Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in patient education and counseling to promote health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Active Florida state or multistate nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing, specifically with stroke patients.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.

Work Schedule

This position requires working night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Dress Code

Employees are expected to wear gray or teal scrubs.
