• Number of Beds: 18-20
• Number of Staff: 35
• Staffing Model:
  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2-3 nurses, 1 LPN, 1-3 PCTs
  • Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 with LPN
• Type of Equipment: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, PCA pumps
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year current hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Skills:

• Burn Care experience
• Wound Care and Ostomy Care experience
• ACLS certification

Typical Procedures Performed

• Wound and dressing care for post-operative burn and flap patients
