Location: City, State

• Number of Beds: 10 Labor Delivery Rooms (LDRs), 2 OB Emergency Beds (OBED)
• Staffing: 24 Bedside RNs
• Day Shift Staffing: 3 RNs, 1 Scrub Tech, 1 Unit Secretary
• Night Shift Staffing: Varies
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 normal, 1:1 or 2:1 for high-risk, if stable
• Type of Equipment: EMR – CPN (Centricity), Meditech

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• ACLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• BLS Certification
• Operating Room Circulator experience

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual
• Scrub Tech skills

Typical Procedures

• Cesarean Sections
• Bilaterial Tubal Ligations (BTLs)/Salpingectomies

Personality Fit

The ideal candidate will be open and adaptable.

Required Certifications

• C-EFM preferred, not required

Floating Areas

• Postpartum, Medical Floor (only as a Tech)

Weekend Requirements
