TRAVEL – RN – LABOR & DELIVERY – COST CENTER 660 – 7:00PM – 7:00AM

Job Description:

MUST HAVE CHARGE EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:

• Labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment.
• Perform procedures including C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries.
• Daily patient and safety rounding.
• Float anywhere within the facility as needed if regular staff are not required on the unit.

Requirements:

• Labor and delivery experience with shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies.
• Advanced skills in fetal monitoring education and experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil).
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring training.
• Must wear pink and/or brown scrubs as per the infant security policy for the unit.
