Job Description:

This position requires charge experience in a Labor and Delivery setting, including labor and recovery of the mother, and transition of the newborn. Duties include daily and safety rounding on all patients.

Responsibilities:

• Labor and recover the mother.
• Receive and transition the newborn, including assessment.
• Manage shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies.
• Administer fetal monitoring and manage inducing agents like Pitocin and Cervidil.
• Perform C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, and vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries.

Requirements:

• Labor and delivery experience.
• Charge nurse experience.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring training.
