Job Description:

The RN (Registered Nurse) in Labor/Delivery will manage all aspects of patient care in a labor and delivery setting, ensure adherence to AWHONN guidelines, and work collaboratively within a team of two to three nurses. Nurses are required to handle routine and intermediate nursery duties and must be independent in all care areas.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients.
• Titrate drips including Pitocin induction/augmentation, insulin drips, and Mag Sulfate.
• Work in tandem with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize central monitoring for fetal strips and collaborate with ICU staff for maternal cardiac readings.
• Maintain flexibility to manage varying patient volumes and assignments.

Requirements:

• Active Oregon RN license, or eligibility for a 90-Day Emergency License.
• Certification in BLS and NRP.
• Strong skills in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
