Job Description:

Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery unit responsible for providing care to patients with complex, clinical needs during childbirth. Tasks include monitoring and managing labor, performing assessments, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients.
• Attend deliveries and assist with C-sections.
• Manage and titrate medications such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including OB anesthesia providers and Neonatologists.

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of LDRP experience needed; open to candidates with 1 year if possessing prior travel experience.
• Ability to work independently during deliveries, including C-section procedures.
• Familiarity with AWHONN guidelines and competency in EPIC charting system.
