Shift: 12H Nights 6p-6a, EOW, First to float helping hands to medsurg (rare)

Contract Length: 16 weeks

Job Description:

The RN in Labor/Delivery is responsible for providing quality nursing care to pregnant women, newborns, and gyn surgical patients in a rural hospital setting. This role requires the nurse to triage and function as the baby catcher/transition nurse. The position also involves titrating drips, specifically Pitocin.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage and manage laboring patients
  • Function as the transition nurse for newborns
  • Titrate Pitocin drips as necessary

Requirements:

  • Must have 1 year of L&D experience and training in LDRP
  • Hold ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
