Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/L&D

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery team for a 13-week assignment. This role involves providing comprehensive care in a combined unit that includes Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care. This position is particularly focused on nighttime shifts.

Unit Information

• 9-bed LDRP unit with a dedicated OR suite and PACU.
• 3-bed Nursery.
• Average monthly deliveries: 35.
• Average monthly outpatient & OB ED volume: 100.

Key Responsibilities

• Care for patients in labor and assist with delivery, providing necessary support before, during, and after childbirth.
• Monitor and care for newborns immediately following delivery.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers including OB/Gyn, Family Medicine Obstetricians, and Nurse Midwives.

Qualifications

• Must have significant experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, Stable, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications are required.
• C-section circulator experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically TruBridge, is a plus.

Scrub Colors

Staff will wear designated OB scrubs provided by the facility.

Schedule

Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. This position is for a duration of 13 weeks.
